You might have seen different definitions of Eco Leather on internet. Some conflict against each other. Eco = ecologically-friendly. It is the essence – to be such a positive existence to human being and the world. This is our opinions.

If this sounds right, then vegan leather or genuine leather that is ecologically-friendly at aspects of raw materials source, mfg. process, during use and after use, then it is fair to define it as Eco Leather. Therefore, not all vegan leather and not all genuine leather can be viewed as eco.

Green raw materials
and process

Our company’s Eco Leather is a category of upholstery materials that are constituted by using all eco-friendly raw materials and by through eco-friendly manufacturing process.

The non-solvent R1 Premium and R2 level of RIM resin function as the coating layer. We also utilize the genuine leather off-cuts, which would end up in landfills if not being utilized, to form the base layer by a special technique. Through an eco-friendly process, the finished eco-leather was built in our plant.

For the world around us, it is a super green way of production at aspects of both CO2 release, water, and power consumption. For the users, the skin-friendly and ultra-low VOCs features make it an even good option for children’s products and hospital products. If you are looking for “Eco” of such a concept, then that is what we are doing.

There are 2 ways to achieve the woven styles:
The more economic way is to emboss the leather fabric to let it look like woven. In most cases, this type of woven pattern is good enough to meet your project needs.
A second option is to cut the leather fabric into strips, and actually weave them into sheets.
