You can cut your faux leather so many ways! Go free hand and use a nice pair of fabric scissors. You can also use a rotary cutter and a cutting mat. And yes, absolutely you can use a cricut machine to cut your faux leather. I personally recommend using a deep cut blade. If you do not have a deep cut blade then set your machine to go over the pattern 2 or 3 times before you peel it up.
